A Calm Creative Space for SEND and SEMH Learners

The Lodge is a calm, creative, enrichment focused one to one learning environment for young people aged 11 to 18 with SEND and SEMH needs who may struggle to access traditional educational settings.

Sessions are delivered on a flexible, part time basis within a low pressure environment designed to support emotional safety, confidence and engagement.

Through creative, practical, and vocational learning, young people are supported to rebuild confidence in learning, develop independence and re-engage with education at their own pace.

Creative & Vocational Learning

How Sessions work

The Lodge provides part time, one to one learning sessions for young people aged 11 to 18 with SEND and SEMH needs. Learners remain on roll with their school or educational setting while attending sessions at The Lodge as part of an agreed package of support. Every placement is tailored to individual learner’s needs, strengths and goals.

Who We Work With

Many of the young people who attend The Lodge have found traditional education environments difficult to engage with. Some may experience anxiety, low confidence, sensory differences or challenges with engagement. We provide a calm nurturing space where young people can feel safe, experience success and rediscover their strengths. Our focus is on building positive relationships, creating meaningful learning experiences and helping each learner move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
